Entries open for 2017 Made in Hull Awards

Entries are now open for the fourth Made in Hull awards, which were officially launched at C4DI.

Organised by Streets Chartered Accountants, Made in Hull forms a key part of Humber Business Week.

This year's celebration of excellence and innovation runs to an extended seven categories, with businesses and individuals invited to self-nominate or put a fellow business or Hull product in the spotlight.

The winners will be announced at the KC Lightstream Stadium, in Preston Road, east Hull, on Thursday, June 8.

James Pinchbeck, marketing partner at Streets, said: "The awards are not just about large factories and oily rags. We've had an artisan pie maker and a craft beer producer.

"We are looking for businesses or individuals that are doing something different or unique, adding value to their business and have a good story to tell."

The awards include a new category this year, Made in Hull Digitally.

Mr Pinchbeck said: "This will be one for businesses that have developed an app, or a technological process or perhaps even a video, something that promotes the area of Hull or a product."
