Launch date announced for 2017 Made in Hull Awards

The launch date for the 2017 Made in Hull Awards has today been announced - confirming its involvement once again in Humber Business Week.

Organised by Streets Chartered Accountants, the awards seek to celebrate the area’s excellence in manufacturing and its well-earned reputation for innovation within the sector.

It also aims to showcase the diversity and creativity of those manufacturing in Hull.

This year’s awards will be launched with an event at C4DI on Friday, March 17

It will include an introduction to the awards and details of the entry process, and a short presentation from Sharon Stathers, International Trade Adviser at DIT (Department for International Trade).

Attendees will also hear from David Keel, Chair at C4DI and Global Innovations Director at Trident, who will talk about C4DI's work with both start-ups and local traditional businesses, how Trident has transformed from a print business into a world class technology leading company, and a few of his insights into the future! 

Entries for the awards will open on Friday, March 17 2017 and will close on Friday, May 5 2017.
