Business Ethics in Action: Siemens Insight

08-06-2017
10:00 - 12:45
University of Hull, Nidd Building Seminar Rooms 1 & 2

Running your business responsibly and ethically is key for your reputation and survival. At this event Brian Houston from Siemens will share their experiences of dealing with the corruption that nearly put them out of business.

Brian will also explain how they have developed processes and policies to ensure they operate ethically in rapidly shifting global business environments.

These themes will then be developed by Professor James Connelly, from the University’s Institute of Applied Ethics. James will explore the meaning of ethics and share his experiences of working with organisations such as the military, to examine ethical best practice.

Concluding with a Q & A, the session will provide you with an overview of business ethics, and provide an insight into successful approaches to applying ethics in your everyday practice.

A networking lunch is included.
