08:30 - 10:30
Raich Carter Suite, KCOM

As part of the Humber Business Week 2017 we are asking the question on the value of good quality training and does this provide a better work force and how will this benefit your company?

Come and join us, together with local companies and other training providers to share your experiences and learn how their practices on training reflect within their own workforce.

Through presentations from local employers, training companies and accredited bodies, we hope we can demonstrate and discuss the value of mandatory, personnel development and voluntary training and how training helps empower the staff in the performance of their work.

Presentations will be given from the following employers from across the Humber region and there will be ample opportunity for a Q&A.

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. We will present the value and types of training available to volunteers and how encouraging your employees to volunteer will help your business.
