Long standing supporters and participants in Humber Biz Week, Streets Chartered Accountants, is hosting the first Humber Biz Week Hull Monopoly Challenge. Taking place on Thursday 7th June, the special event will provide the unique chance for lovers of the popular board game to pit their wits and seek to win the title of Hull Monopoly Champion 2018.

Commenting on the idea for the challenge and event, Streets Chartered Accountants Marketing Partner, James Pinchbeck said: “Humber Biz Week seeks to engage and celebrate all aspects of business and the local economy.

“As a leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers in the city and with particular expertise in the property sector, it seemed highly appropriate for us to host a Monopoly Challenge, more so using the Hull version of this iconic and most popular board game.

The event which will take place on Thursday afternoon during Bizweek will be held at KCom Craven Park and is open to individuals as well as teams of 4 or 6.  In particular, given the vibrancy of the local property market and those engaged in it, we are looking forward to welcoming friendly rivalry from property agents, developers, surveyors, bankers and lawyers.  Entries are also welcome from all fans of the board game.”

Kath Lavery, Chair of Humber Business Week Steering Group, added: “Business Week is pleased that Streets Chartered Accountants are to continue their involvement in this very innovative way. They are long standing supporters of the week and it’s just really great to see them sponsoring a really fun event that will raise money for three very worthwhile causes.

“That commitment to the Humber community is one of the basic values of Business Week and I’d like to thank James and his team for their support in 2018.”

The proceeds from the event will be shared equally between Hull Kingston Rovers Community Trust, Hull FC Foundation and The Tigers Trust.

The cost of entry is £30 per individual player or £150 for six players. If you would like to enter or require further information please email Samuel Clarke sclarke@streetsweb.co.uk or call 01482 225399.
