Achieving real value for money through public private partnerships
An examination of how true partnerships work and how the whole can add up to much more than the sum of the parts using a truly innovative example as a case study where Hull is leading the way nationally. The opening of the Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre in East Hull marks a step change in the way health and social care will be provided to frail patients in the city and the delivery model under which several public and private bodies have come together to enable the new facility demonstrates that through working collaboratively, especially in times of ongoing austerity, the results can be outstanding.
