Transforming the Humber 2019 - a digitally enabled workforce delivering a sustainable future

08:00am – 12:30pm

Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, Grange Park Lane, Willerby, Hull, HU10 6EA

In collaboration with Humber LEP, our Humber Branch CIPD conference this year will consider how, as Humber-based employers, we can grow a digitally enabled workforce to address skills and labour gaps and improve organisational effectiveness. This is with a view to help deliver a sustainable future for organisations across the Humber region.

We will explore the growth of the digital agenda and the links to the Government’s “Good Work” agenda

We will explore how organisations have leveraged the best results from social media and online collaboration tools, developed and delivered effective digital strategies and implemented innovative  approaches to resourcing in an increasingly competitive digital world.

Confirmed speakers include:

•  Kishor Tailor, Chief Executive, Humber LEP

•  David D’Souza, Membership Director, CIPD

•  Daphne Doody-Green, Head of CIPD Northern England

•  Others still to be confirmed

The event is aimed at HR leaders and professionals, as well as business leaders who want to consider how they can increase and develop their digital capability of their business through increasing the digital skills of their workforce and help address key current labour gaps. Attendees will hear from a range of speakers and have the opportunity to attend workshops to explore in greater detail what can be achieved.

This event is free to attend. Bookings available via Eventbrite -
