Talking Taboos: Supporting Staff through Mental Health Awareness

Talking Taboos: Supporting Staff through Mental Health Awareness

Are you OK? Are you really OK?

Sometimes it’s hard to know what to say, and you worry you might say the wrong thing or make things worse. The truth is you, won’t and you probably can’t.

Let our mental health expert Lynne talk you through the importance of supporting colleagues and employees, at this Humber Biz Week 2022 event, by learning to find the right words and encourage everyone to open up about mental health issues and create a positive working culture and environment.

This session is open to anyone who would like to know more about recognising the signs of mental ill health and supporting people in the workplace or at home. Whether you work at home with colleagues on teams, a sole trader dealing with customers everyday, or in a large office, this session is for you.

There will be a chance to chat to the tutor and team following the talk and refreshments will be available.

Event runs until Midday.
