The University of Hull

The University of Hull has long played an active part in Humber Business Week.

It stepped up its commitment and support in 2016 as a major supporter of the week, playing a key role in planning and development of the week schedule.

We look forward to working with the University team again in 2021.

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership is a business-led partnership and plays a key role in each and every Humber Business Week

It works closely with government to promote and develop the natural economic area surrounding the Humber estuary, and provide strategic leadership for economic growth.

The LEP is made up of representatives from businesses as well as the University of Hull and the four Local Authorities in the Humber area - Hull City Council, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, North Lincolnshire Council and North East Lincolnshire Council.

It’s annual AGM is staged during Humber Business Week, at which the LEP’s work over the past year, and plans for the future are outlined.
