Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) in Hull, the Humber and East Yorkshire: The Opportunity of Devolution

Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) in Hull, the Humber and East Yorkshire: The Opportunity of Devolution

What does the devolution deal mean for economic development and research and innovation (R&I) and in Hull and East Yorkshire? How can it boost the further growth of a knowledge economy and research ecosystem in the region? And what opportunities might it hold for you and your business?

This afternoon of panels and roundtables will shed light on these questions, while also asking what role research and knowledge organisations such as universities should play in the devolution process. There will also be opportunity to ask questions of, and network with, experts from the University of Hull and policy makers working in Hull, East Yorkshire, and further afield across Yorkshire.

The afternoon’s sessions will be opened by Professor Kevin Kerrigan, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Hull.
